The sensation of the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2013: Pocher celebrates its resurrection and brings a complete new kit in 1/8. We have inspected the model on display in detail and were very impressed. What happens here is done really well. Precision and detail are at the cutting edge of technology. Just one example: The body joints of hoods and doors are so fine and precise that an absolutely authentic impression results . No comparison to the old Pocher models, such as the F40 or the historical models with plastic body.

The 7 kg heavy kit contains over 600 parts and will cost around 600 Euros. That is a very fair price in view of the size and detailing of the model. It will be available from the 3rd quarter of 2013. In the mid-sixties Arnaldo Pocher began manufacturing model kits of famous automobiles in 1/8 scale in italy. Over the years the company he founded produced models of iconic super sports cars such as the FIAT 130 hp, the Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 or the Mercedes Benz 500 K. Later having been acquired by Rivarossi the Ferrari Testarossa joined the new Pocher Prestige series. The Testarossa was Pochers first model featuring a body made of metal die-cast, a formula for success that has been adopted fort he new Ferrari F40, too. In 1998 the Porsche 911 was Pocher?s last model kit. In 2004 Pocher joined the Hornby family and after a long period of planning the resurgence of a legend is announced.
